Trackmania Nations

High speed racing on extremely exagerrated tracks against other players online is undoubtably great fun. Trackmania Nations is a freeware gem created by a professional company, Nadeo. Some of you may know the original Trackmania game or Trackmania sunrise as professional games, but this one was released as freeware for the electronic sports world cup. The graphics are of professional quality and so are the sound effects. The best part about this game is the tracks, they are very unrealistic, but great fun, with loop the loops, big jumps, holes and so much more. Couple this with multiplay and your in for some great fun!

The only thing I didn’t really like was the fact that there is no collision detection between players, you just go right through each other, but it might be better this way really, less frustrating. Having said that the game can be rather frustrating, as it is a challenge to even finish the race, let alone get a good time in it!
