Sword Dance

Sword Dance is a Japanese Hack and slash where you, some boy with an oversized sword, are stuck in some sort of pit or cave and must protect some floating diamond from an endless horde of monsters.

It is hard to come by a good freeware hack and slash, but your search may have just come to an end! bright is very fast paced and features some very cool moves. The graphics are good enough and feature some fancy light effects. The music and sound fit together with the game perfectly to put you in the mood to slice n' dice.

While fighting monsters you gain experience which levels you up and obviously makes you stronger, but it also unlocks new special attacks which get cooler with each level.

The 'endless horde' of monsters comes in waves, with a boss battle every 10th wave, which is just an oversized version of a previous monster, nothing special, but still a nice enough touch.

Overall this game will definitely appeal to any hack and slash fans, and its fancy effects make it worth a try to anyone else too. You are sure to get a few hours of fun with this. And perhaps more if the lack of change doesn't bother you.
