Fly For Fun

Fly For Fun or FlyFF is yet another combat based Korean MMORPG. This time however you can fly around on a broom or board, adding a whole new dimension to the genre.

Of course the on land gameplay is also very good. The combat, accompanied by good fun music and great skills is pretty exciting. The different classes are good, and make for some great party play. It is great fun to team up with other classes and hunting down the harder enemies.

Most MMORPG games are set in a fantasy setting and some in a sci-fi setting, FlyFF is set in a very childish fantasy setting. While it might be a little appealing at first it does little to help in the role playing, while drinking a health potion in the middle of a battle with an orc makes sense, here you are more likely to eat a lollypop while fighting a very cute one eyed monster that looks like something out of Monster Rancher. Bottom line, very good fun gameplay, and pretty funny. But this sadly hurts the role playing.

Very fun to team up with other players
Can customize characters a lot, like hairstyle and color and facial features
Flight is cool

Cons:

All characters look like children
Items make no sense
Takes ages to gain ability to fly, some players lose interest before this
