America's Army

America’s Army is an amazing online FPS. It is on the unreal engine, yet heavily modified.
America’s army was actually made by the US army as a recruiting tool and cost the army thousands of dollars. But whats it cost us? Nothing!

Upon creating your account and downloading the game, you have to go through offline training missions ranging from target practice to special forces exam to medical exams (yes a muliple choice written exam, and judging by the medical course I took in real life, very much like the real exam). But as expected the true gameplay lies in the multiplayer. This game features stunning realism, as expected concidering it was made by the actual army... each map has an attacking team and a defending team and one very odd thing about AA is that you are always a member of americas army, and your enemies are always opfor (opposing forces). each player sees his teammates as US soldiers and enemies as terrorists.
As mentioned earlier the game is very realistic, meaning a single well placed shot will often kill you. Team work is necessary as well as a lot of skill. it wouldnt be the first time I played for an hour and only scored a couple of kills, so if you think you have what it takes and want a commercial quality online game I definately suggest this.
